Support Your School and Get Involved

Education is a partnership involving parents and guardians, students, teachers, principals, school boards, the government and the community. The involvement of school councils provide the opportunity to strengthen the partnership and be part of a dedicated team working to support a high quality of education in your child's school.

All schools within the Kenora Catholic District School Board have a School Council. School Councils can help contribute to the school community and the education of students within the school. A School Council provides a forum for parents and other members of the school community to share ideas and contribute to improving the school environment, student achievement and the overall culture of the school.

Everyone is welcome and invited to attend the monthly meeting. The School Council meets monthly for a few hours September through to June and values diversity, new ideas and above all volunteers.
