Kenora Catholic is happy to offer special retreats for students as they make their journey through our schools. At St. John School all Grade 5 and 6 students travel to Luther Village in June. Students get to experience nature and physical activity through swimming, archery, canoeing and rock climbing. It is also an excellent opportunity for them to relax and spend time together outside of the classroom.
We also offer a trip to Toronto every other year for Grade 7 and 8 students. Students have fun traveling together and exploring Ontario's biggest city. They get to experience things like Niagara Falls and the Maid of the Mist boat tour, Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum and Aquarium, Canada's Wonderland, Queen's Park, Medieval Times, rock climbing, waterparks, museums and more. This trip is a highlight of our Grade 7 and 8 experience and offers students a chance to build lasting relationships before they head off to high school.
